Endometriosis — psychosomatics, hygiene, and the female womb

In the first article, I wrote about the diet (not) suitable for women with endometriosis. In the second article of this series on endometriosis prevention, I wrote about food supplements. Finally, I would like to mention the prevention options in terms of female genital hygiene and, of course, psychosomatics.

Ecohygiene

The hygiene and care of your womb also play a big role.

Underwear

Consider your choice of underwear material. Not everything that is sexy is healthy and suitable for you right now. Similarly, the detergent you wash your underwear in should be as gentle as possible, at least for nature, let alone your womb.

Menstrual aids

Following closely behind is the question of menstrual aids. I definitely don’t recommend using tampons or menstrual cups. If it were natural to retain menstrual blood, we would be born with a kangaroo pouch in the womb. I tried using the menstrual cup myself, but after 6 months of happy use, I developed a 3.5 cm cyst despite a perfect diet, exercise, and mental work. I stopped using it and the cyst is gone in the last six months.

The ideal solution would be free menstruation, which Miranda Grey also mentions in her book The Cyclic Woman. However, I can’t do that yet, so I use menstrual panties and have never enjoyed my period as much as I do with them.

Females are cyclical

Last but not least, I recommend reading the books The Red Moon or The Cyclical Woman to learn more about your menstrual cycle, its connection to the moon, and the phases of the moon.

A cyclic woman is in her feelings, intuition, perception. Most women today are more in the energy of performance, which is a masculine principle. If masculine principles prevail in us, we lose touch with our inner woman, with intuition, with cyclicity.

Movement

Since your body also needs proper movement and breathing, you should practice the Five Tibetans, Mohenjoodara (an exercise that directly supports the setting of optimal hormone levels in a woman’s body), and slow jogging. Try to get as much movement into each day as possible (a walk, yoga exercise, pilates, or whatever you find fun and fulfilling).

Psychosomatic causes of endometriosis

“Endometriosis is a disease of lack of self-love and self-worth!”

For female problems, the cause is pretty clear. If you want to heal the womb, you have to “return to the womb”, to where new life begins, to motherhood. These problems almost always have their source in bad relationships with the female line — with the mother, the grandmother. Other problems are rooted in partner relationships. Alternatively, another aspect of women’s difficulties is the acceptance of their own sexuality.

We are each different, we have each experienced a different story and been marked differently. Your story is your answer to the journey to health. I can only offer you inspiration and wish you a brisk pace and lots of peps!

In the end, I would like to give you all courage! It’s all in your head and soul, and only you can see there. Don’t be afraid to look in there and heal yourself.

You can do it!
